Haoyang Environmental appeared at the 2025 National Hydrometallurgical Innovation Technology Development Forum
On May 28, 2025, the 2025 National Forum on Innovative Technology Development of Hydrometallurgy with the theme of "Green Driving the Future Intelligent Leading Hydrometallurgy" was grandly held in Wuhan. As a leading enterprise in the field of environmental protection engineering materials in China, Haoyang Environmental was invited to attend the forum. Li Hongzhen, an engineer of the company, delivered a special report on Application Research of Environmental Protection Engineering Materials in Seepage Control Projects of Hydrometallurgy, providing innovative solutions for the green transformation of the industry.
Focusing on the Innovative Application of Environmental Protection Materials to Solve the Seepage Control Problems in Hydrometallurgy
In the field of hydrometallurgy, the risk of heavy metal solution leakage during the production process has long restricted the sustainable development of the industry. Relying on years of innovative accumulation, Haoyang Environmental has independently developed the "special geomembrane for hydrometallurgy", which has become the core highlight of this report. The report shows that this material has demonstrated significant advantages in strong acid, strong alkali, and strong oxidation (hydrogen peroxide, ozone) environments through the optimization of the antioxidant system. After 60 days, the OIT retention rate is as high as over 95%, and the retention rate of mechanical properties (strength, elongation) exceeds 95%. Its anti-degradation ability has been comprehensively improved, and it can long-term withstand the synergistic damage of extreme chemical corrosion and oxidation.
Li Hongzhen emphasized in the report: "The seepage control project is the lifeline of green production in hydrometallurgy. Our innovative environmental protection special seepage control materials not only meet the strict requirements of GB 18597-2023 Pollution Control Standards for Hazardous Waste Storage. In the future, we will also promote the industry towards the intelligent goal through modular construction technology, robot welding, intelligent monitoring systems for seepage control materials, high-performance nano-composite membranes, and other means."
Leading the Green Transformation of the Industry
During the forum, the exhibition booth of Haoyang Environmental centrally displayed more than 20 kinds of special seepage control materials for hydrometallurgy and various complex scenarios, including 6 categories such as acid and alkali-resistant geomembranes, anti-silting three-dimensional composite drainage nets, powdery sodium-based bentonite waterproof blankets, and high-performance sprayed seepage control materials, covering the whole scenarios of hydrometallurgy such as red mud 堆场 (red mud yards), tailings ponds, and leaching pools.
