IAGI Certification Assessment at Haoyang Environmental Technology

On March 18, 2025, Haoyang Environmental Technology achieved a significant milestone in its quality development journey when Mr. Lu, a senior instructor from the International Association of Geosynthetic Installers (IAGI), conducted a comprehensive Certified Welding Technician (CWT) evaluation at our Shandong facility. This rigorous, two-day assessment not only validated our technicians' expertise but also positioned Haoyang among the elite few Chinese manufacturers meeting IAGI's exacting global standards for geomembrane installation.

The Certified Welding Technician (CWT) program of the International Association of Geosynthetics Installation Industry (IAGI) is used to verify that the welder has experience in geomembrane welding and meets the international standard requirements for various geomembrane welding skills that it certifies. As an authoritative organization in the global geosynthetics industry, the International Association of Geosynthetics Installation Industry (IAGI) is known for its high standards and strict processes. In this assessment, IAGI experts conducted a comprehensive assessment of Haoyang Environment.

Written Test Covered knowledge areas including: Welding principles Material characteristics International standards (such as ASTM D6392, GRI GM19)

Practical Welding Evaluation 1. Equipment operation:  Proficiency in using hot wedge welders, extrusion welders and other equipment 2. Process control:  Parameter adjustments for temperature, speed and pressure 3. Quality inspection: Non-destructive testing of welds (including air pressure testing, vacuum testing) Destructive testing (including shear strength, peel strength tests) On-site sample cutting and random sampling inspection
